Journal of Cities & Infrastructure (eISSN:  3093-852X, JCI) is an international  open-access journal dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research on the planning, development, and management of urban systems and critical infrastructure. As a platform for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners, JCI focuses on addressing the complex challenges faced by rapidly urbanizing societies, emphasizing sustainability, resilience, equity, and technological innovation. The journal prioritizes evidence-based insights that bridge theory and practice, fostering dialogue across disciplines such as urban planning, civil engineering, environmental science, transportation, energy systems, and social sciences. The journal aims to advance interdisciplinary research on urban systems and critical infrastructure, fostering sustainable, resilient, and equitable development in cities worldwide, and is published online quarterly by Cultech Publishing Sdn. Bhd.

Open Access: This journal operates under a "gold" Open Access model, providing free access to all readers.  The Article Processing Charges (APC) for all article types (research, review, case reports) is $50, and the content will be published under a CC BY 4.0. To encourage submissions and support the research community, JCI currently levies no APC (0 APC). For specific APC policies, please refer to the Open Access Policies.

Recognition of Reviewers: reviewers who provide timely, thorough peer-review reports receive vouchers entitling them to a discount on the APC of their next publication in JCI, in appreciation of the work done.
